Introducing Golf-focused Training inside the Athletic Center
Every golfer wants more distance, more consistency, and more confidence standing over the ball. Just as important, most golfers want to play without pain, walk 18 comfortably, and keep their game strong for years to come.
Whether your goal is to stay competitive or to continue enjoying the game for decades to come, how your body moves directly impacts how you perform. Yet most golfers focus almost entirely on equipment and mechanics while overlooking the one factor that ultimately determines performance: the body producing the swing.
The Fort Worth Club is expanding its golf fitness offerings inside the Athletic Center with the introduction of Mach3 tools and guided performance programs, a golf-focused training experience designed to prepare the body for the physical demands of the game.

In Partnership With Industry Leaders
Developed in collaboration with Golf Digest Top 50 Instructor Jarrett Phillips of TrainPMT and Mach3 Founder Mike Romatowski, this program brings together elite level golf instruction insight and advanced performance training methodology to The Fort Worth Club.
This is not golf instruction. It is physical preparation for golf, designed to complement the work you are already doing with your golf professionals and allow your swing to translate more consistently on the course.
Why the Body Matters
Golf demands mobility, stability, sequencing, balance, and endurance. At the center of it all is power.
Power is layered on top of mobility and stability. It is what creates speed and ultimately distance. Power is the key driver of speed and distance. It is also the first athletic quality to decline with age, which is why many golfers notice yardage fading over time.
The good news is that power can be trained safely, intentionally, and measurably.
When mobility improves, rotation becomes more efficient. When stability improves, contact becomes more consistent. When sequencing improves, speed increases. No equipment change can fully compensate for physical limitations. Preparing the body changes that.
A Smarter Way to Train for Golf
This new golf-focused training initiative inside the Athletic Center is built on a simple principle: when the body moves better, the game improves.
Instead of focusing solely on mechanics, this approach develops the physical qualities that support them, including rotational strength, balance, sequencing, power, and recovery. By strengthening the body that produces the swing, golfers enhance the instruction they already value and create a foundation for lasting performance.
During a recent pilot session introducing Mach3 training concepts, members experienced measurable gains almost immediately.
“I picked up three to four miles per hour in about 30 minutes. What really stood out was how it simplified everything. Instead of getting mechanical over the ball, I focused on initiating from my lower half and staying smooth. It just made sense.” — Rand Ravnaas, Member
What Members Will See
As these enhancements roll out, members will see several golf-focused additions inside the Athletic Center, including:
· Complimentary golf-focused performance classes emphasizing rotational strength, mobility, and power
· Mach3 training tools with overspeed and sequencing tools
· Golf-specific speed and movement assessments
· Special tool fitting events
· A structured 12-week training pathway for members seeking measurable progress
These offerings create multiple entry points, whether you are looking for an introduction or a comprehensive development plan.
The Bigger Picture
Golf is a game of precision and repeatability, both of which depend on how efficiently the body produces and transfers force. This expanded golf fitness offering inside the Athletic Center is about building speed, improving consistency, and strengthening the physical foundation behind your swing. It is about maximizing your performance today while sustaining the game you love for years to come.
If you are serious about improving your game, your body deserves the same attention as your equipment. More details about our upcoming golf-focused launch inside the Athletic Center will be shared soon.
